How long is the course?
The rail course is taught over 6 weeks, Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm. This is followed by 7 days of safety critical training to get the competences you need to work on the infrastructure.
Is the training all theory based?
No, it's a 50/50 split between classroom based sessions where you are taught the knowledge and practical sessions to put the theory into action on the test track.
Is there a cost to doing the training?
No! As long as you meet the eligibility criteria the course is fully funded and FREE!
Who teaches the course?
Your tutor has worked in the Rail Industry for 34 years. He has experience and real life scenarios to share with you throughout the training.
